Paleoceanography and paleoclimatology II

The course aim is on the interaction between the oceans and the global climate over geological timescales, with a focus on dating and the use of proxy variables for reconstruction of past environmental conditions in the oceans. An overarching goal is to provide insights about the scientific process.

Admission requirements

knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor of Science degree, which includes at least 90 credits in geology or geoscience, where the course Marine geoscience II 15 credits (GG5013) or Paleoceanography and paleoclimatology I 15 credits (GG5113) is included. English B or equivalent is also required.
